In fact, free FASTag is once again being given to the drivers by the National Highway Authority (NHAI). However, people will get free fastag only from February 15 to 29. There is a provision of fastag toll collection on more than 527 national highways across the country.
Free Fastag will be available for 15 days. Free Fastag will be given by NHAI from 15 to 29 February 2020. In such a situation, NHAI will not charge Rs 100 for these 15 days at more than 527 toll plazas.
To get Free Fastag, you have to go to an official point of sale. After reaching here, you will have to show the RC (registration certificate) of your car, after which you can now get Fastag for free.

From 22 November 2019 to 15 December 2019, NHAI launched a campaign to provide free fastag to the drivers. At that time, many banks and e-wallet companies also campaigned to distribute free Fastag.
