The central government issued the order, said – in states where corona cases are increasing, bring a rapid pace in vaccination

The central government on Saturday asked states and union territories to continue the strategy to investigate, detect and treat cases where cases of Covid-19 are seen to be on the rise. Along with this, it has also been said by the Center that in districts where a large number of cases of infections are coming up, the vaccination of priority population groups in mission should be expedited.

In a meeting held on Saturday, such states have been asked to tie up with private hospitals for a vaccination program for at least 15 days and maximum 28 days.

They have been asked to increase RT-PCR investigations in districts which depend on antigen testing, where cases are increasing, to refocus on surveillance and to make areas strictly restricted in those areas of select districts and At least 20 people who have come in contact with them should be detected per infected case.

The Union Health Ministry said that Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan and NITI Aayog member (Health) Vinod K. Paul on Saturday interacted with the health secretaries of Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Union Territories of Delhi and Chandigarh and the mission directors of the National Health Mission.

It was stated by the Ministry of Health that the rate of infection has increased in these states and union territories in recent times and new cases of infections have increased daily.

The ministry said in a statement that they reviewed health measures on surveillance, detention and management of Kovid-19 cases in these eight states and union territories in view of the increase in new cases of Kovid-19.

Detailed details were told in the meeting that weekly infection rates have increased in nine districts of Delhi, 15 in Haryana, ten in Andhra Pradesh, ten in Odisha, nine in Himachal Pradesh, seven in Uttarakhand, two in Goa and one in Chandigarh. While there has been a decrease in the total number of probes, RT-PCR probes have decreased and fewer people being exposed to those infected with Kovid-19 are being detected.

The statement said that they have been told that in the districts where the number of cases is increasing, strict prohibited areas should be set up, at least 20 people exposed to infected people should be detected and clinical management in the districts paid attention.
