The Power of Inclusion
At JCI Vizag, we believe in celebrating the abilities of every individual, regardless of their challenges. That’s why we are proud to announce the 19th edition of the Special Olympics, a remarkable sports meet for specially-abled children. This annual event brings together children with hearing and visual impairments, as well as those with physical and mental disabilities, from the districts of Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, and Srikakulam.
On 3rd September 2023, the Police Barracks in Suryabagh will be transformed into a hub of joy and inspiration. Starting from 9:00 am onwards, the Special Olympics promises a day filled with excitement, camaraderie, and unforgettable moments.
Creating Opportunities for All
Our mission is to create a truly inclusive society, where everyone has an equal opportunity to showcase their talents and abilities. The Special Olympics is a platform that allows specially-abled children to shine and prove that there are no limits to what they can achieve.
Through a range of sports activities specially adapted to accommodate different abilities, the participants will have the chance to compete, excel, and demonstrate their incredible skills. From track and field events to team sports, every child will have the opportunity to participate in a discipline that sparks their interest and passion.

The atmosphere will be electric, as children push their limits, overcome obstacles, and celebrate their achievements.
