Contributions from Kerala Colleges to Chandrayaan-3

The recent success of Chandrayaan-3 has brought two prestigious colleges of Kerala into the spotlight. The College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram (CET) and Thangal Kunju Musaliar College of Engineering (TKMCE) in Kollam have played a significant role in this achievement.

Many talented engineers who graduated from CET have been actively involved in the Chandrayaan-3 team. They have contributed their knowledge, skills, and passion towards this historic accomplishment. It is a matter of pride for CET to see their alumni making such noteworthy contributions to India’s space exploration program.

Similarly, TKMCE takes pride in the fact that the current ISRO chief, S Somnath, is an alumnus of their institution. His leadership and expertise have been instrumental in guiding the Chandrayaan-3 project towards success. The college cherishes his achievements and considers it a testament to the quality of education provided at TKMCE.

Alumni Success Stories

Both colleges have a long-standing tradition of producing talented engineers who excel in their respective fields. The success of their alumni in the Chandrayaan-3 project is just one example of the impact these colleges have had on India’s scientific and technological advancements.

CET has always been at the forefront of engineering education in Kerala. Over the years, it has nurtured countless bright minds and provided them with a strong foundation in various engineering disciplines. The contributions of CET alumni have not only brought glory to the institution but also served as an inspiration for future generations.

TKMCE, on the other hand, has a rich legacy of producing individuals who have gone on to achieve great heights in their careers. The fact that their alumnus, S Somnath, currently leads ISRO is a testament to the college’s commitment to academic excellence. It is a source of immense pride for TKMCE to see one of their own play a crucial role in India’s space missions.

As we celebrate the success of Chandrayaan-3, let us also acknowledge the immense dedication and hard work put in by the students, faculty, and alumni of these two esteemed colleges. Their achievements serve as a reminder that with the right education and unwavering determination, we can reach for the stars and achieve the impossible.
